I meant to post this in January but things happened and here we are in February. (Happy Feb. btw) lol Atleast it's up now. MegaMind    I was really apprehensive about this film but after watching it I tell you if you love a good comedy you're going to love this. I was cracking up at almost every scene. The leading blue man also known as MegaMind leads a life of crime and all around badness. His opponent: Metro Man, The Good Guy, has been his rival since their wee years. As battles ensue the fight between good and evil wages on deeper than expected. There a lot of funny action movies out but there are few that are able to tell a good story and be unpredictable at the same time. This film is going in for the classics. A few happy moments but nothing can save you from the emptiness inside. I tried to drown myself in music, going out, entertaining hobbies but none of the pleasures in life fulfill. The dull ache of loneliness can't be satisfied with people.  Your want for more is never contented. There's a longing deep within your soul and you can't fill it. After looking for hours on end for something to preoccupy this mind of mine from wandering into the abyss of questions that lead me into that longing, I quit. I gave up trying to fight the battle and just sat on my bed to think and allow my brain to explore the plaguing questions. To every unnerving question the ultimate answer lead to God, my Savior. I sinned and hadn't asked for forgiveness because I thought I didn't deserve it. Truth is- I don't deserve forgiveness but it's granted to me through Christ. This is my second time address the topic of hypocrisy this year. I thought I'd share this true story with you all to give a clear picture of what hypocrisy looks like. 2 Samuel Chapter 11: David and Bathsheba   1  In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. This series of blogs to my audience has been a difficult one. There are so many passages in the Bible about love. Even with three long blogs, I still haven't even broken the surface of topic yet. Love is more than feelings and words. Many people (including myself at times) have let the media make them cynical about this day dedicated to love. I have a Valentines Day story for you. It's one of my favorites.  Ruth 1 Naomi Loses Her Husband and Sons   1 In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab. 2 The man’s name was Elimelek, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem, Judah. And they went to Moab and lived there.   3 Now Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. 4 They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, 5 both Mahlon and Kilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband. Naomi and Ruth Return to Bethlehem   6 When Naomi heard in Moab that the LORD had come to the aid of his people by providing food for them, she and her daughters-in-law prepared to return home from there. 7
