I thought I'd put it out there for free and see if anyone likes my writing style and the story it tells. Let me know what you think.
The Plans Of Man

A man plans the perfect Valentine's Date for his wife of many years but everything goes awry.

"Hello? Hi I'd like to know how much you charge for a dozen roses? Oh! Well how much for three? Ok I'll take that. Charles Motalo. Alright see you soon."

"Ahh ordering flowers for the little lady I see,” says a familiar voice.
Charles turns towards his door and there stands his co-worker and friend, Jonathan.
"Hey Jonathan, yea I have to get roses for my love."
"Oooo. What do you all have planned?"
"I'm taking her out on the town tonight. I'm going to get off early so I can get a chauffeured limo. Pick up the roses. Take her to see her favorite actress in a new play that's come to town. Then go to this five star restaurant that Bonnie has been wanting to try."
"You can't do that man then my wife is going to hear about it and want me to do the same,” says Jonathan laughing. "I got to get back to work. Have fun man!"

Charles' intercom sounds. He pressed the correct button and hears the voice of his boss, Chris. "I need to leave. We have an emergency meeting at the main division and since we're the only two that can sign off on anything really important I need you to wait for the delivery." This threw a wrench in his plans of leaving early but the wait shouldn't be that long. "Alright Chris, will do."

So Charles waited. For two hours he waited. He saw Jonathan leave his office to go home for the day. Jonathan backtracked to confirm that Charles was still in his office.

"I thought you were going to leave early."
"Yea, that was the plan but I have to stay and sign for a package."
"Oh. Do you want me to sign it?" Jonathan asked.
Charles resisted this tempting offer replying casually, "I wish but besides Chris, I'm the only one who can sign it."
"No one will know it's not you that signed it."

Again Charles contemplated this simple solution but became conscience stricken at the thought and answered, "No, it's alright. Get home safely."

Jonathan nodded and headed out for the night. As the office closed he realized that he was the only one besides the janitor still there. About six o'clock the carrier showed with the package which Charles promptly signed, put on Chris' desk and raced to the car. His first stop was the dealership to get his limo.

Charles pulled into the dealership sharply, parking and practically sprinted into the building. To the woman behind the counter he must've appeared like a crazy person for she brought out her boss without even addressing Charles.

"May I help you, sir?" says the owner, a young man that looked no older than 27.
"Yes, I reserved a limousine here a couple of weeks ago." The owner gave him a worried look.
"Your name?"
"Charles Motalo."
The man fluttered at the keys of the computer before him.
"I'm sorry sir, your limo pick up time was two hours ago. If it's not picked up on time we are able to give it to another customer. Which happened some time ago... we also have no more drivers for the night."

His heart dropped. All this planning, weeks ahead of time and he doesn't even have a car. The owner broke his thoughts, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience sir. To compensate you we have a new line of cars that just came in today that we can give you in exchange for the week."
Charles answered despondently, "Fine." He signed the appropriate papers and the owner left.

Charles looked toward the open windows and saw his reflection. He DID look like a crazy man. His hair was disheveled, his tie was barely holding together and his clothing was spotted with sweat patches. He smoothed his hair and fixed his tie but there was not much he could do about the spotting. For ten minutes he stood there until the owner came in through the front door with a pair of keys and handed one of them to Charles. "Here is your key. Would you follow me please?" Charles followed the shrewd young man as he led them outside. The man stepped to the side, revealing this black, sleek, classic car that mesmerized Charles for what seemed like an hour. "It's a beauty isn't it?" Charles jerked back to reality and looked at the smiling owner who opened the door to the driver's seat. He got inside. This car was a dream. There was no way he could've originally afforded this but here he was in a classic on the way to the florist to pick up the roses he ordered for his wife. This shouldn't take long.

He pulled up to his local grocery store, quickly paid for his flowers and left. Only one hour until the show's start. During his ride he started to smell something awful. He thought the scent was his own perspiration but in the race to get home to his wife he couldn't figure out if that was true. In his driveway he started sniffing around to locate the source of that terrible scent. Although it was true that he needed a shower the putrid smell was not coming from him. He looked to the newly bought flowers and took a whiff. And there it was. He started having a coughing fit immediately after. There was no time to get any more flowers and he wasn't about to give his wife these so he regrettably tossed them.

Upon entering his house he reluctantly announced, "I'm home Bonnie!" A true beauty came down the hall. She was wearing a lovely one shoulder, teal dress, her curls framed her face but her smile was the showstopper. 25 years of marriage and he still hadn't tired of the gorgeous smile. She deserved flowers everyday.

"Charles!"
She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a kiss.
"Your clothes are laying on the bed. Go get changed. I'll be ready in 5 minutes."

True to her word she was ready and waiting for him patiently. He took her arm and led her to the new car in their driveway. "Wow! Charles! This is- WOW! Charles this car is incredible!" He smiled and opened her door. She got in and he closed the door for her.

With thirty minutes until the performance's start Charles rounded every corner with precision and speed hoping to get a good parking spot.

"Slow down honey we'll get there", says Bonnie.

He does and it's a good thing too. Just as soon as he came to the street of the venue there was a traffic jam of cars trying to get a spot close to the theater where the play was going to be held. He sat in that traffic for ten minutes creeping along the road. The main lot had closed because it was full and nearby lots were just as packed. He drove in and out of lots looking for a spot and finally ended up a street away from the theater and had to walk a significant length there. The cold weather wasn't making anything better.

"Isn't this nice, Charles?" Bonnie asked as she held onto his arm.

He looked at her like she had lost it. Before he could rebut with a sarcastic answer she continued, "It's so romantic walking with you to a play and listening to the jazz."

He was so upset about the long walk in the cold that he hadn't heard the jazz. He could hear it now. A man played a saxophone in front of a nearby hotel filling the street with amazing sounds.

"It is nice, Bonnie." he finally replied.

They enjoyed their stroll to the theater. At the ticket window he turned in the tickets he bought earlier and was escorted inside. They approached the front and saw the perfect seats. Finally something was right. Then the usher veered to the right leading them to the side of the stage. He was confused but followed the usher and his wife to low corner seats near the edge of the stage. They were so close to the side of the stage they were almost backstage with the cast.

"Excuse me, are you sure these are our seats?"
"Yes sir, but let me double check. Could I see your ticket once more?"

Charles hands her the tickets, the woman reads it and shows him that the A41 and A42 on their tickets are the same figures on their chairs.

"Thank you", says Charles as he takes the tickets and sits down with an audible sign.

Bonnie held his hand and smiled excitedly at her frustrated husband. Seeing her happy brought some relief to his heart. The lights dimmed and the production started.

An hour and forty-five minutes later the cast lined on the stage for a final bow and the lights came on. Everyone milled for the door congesting the doorway so instead of getting in that mess Bonnie suggested, "Why don't we sit here comfortably until the crowd dies down."
"That's a good idea", Charles agreed.

As they sat there waiting their usher came up to them and asked, "Would you like to meet the cast?" "Sure!" Bonnie just about shouted.

Again Charles found himself following the usher and his wife and this time to a place that most definitely had not been apart of the plan but it was very nice nonetheless.

The usher started to speak, "Many times when people don't like their seats they take it out on the ushers but I appreciate you not getting upset with me, so I hope you enjoy this private one-on-one meeting with the cast."

She opened the cast only door, gave them back stage passes and introduced the director to them. Charles enjoyed the experience but Bonnie was having the time of her life as she met the actors especially her favorite actress Katy Ware. She gave Bonnie a signed photo of her, took a picture with her and just talked with her for a good fifteen minutes.

"It was nice meeting you Bonnie", said Katy.
"It was nice to finally meet you too Katy", Bonnie replied joyfully.

It was nine o'clock when they finally left. They thanked the usher for such a nice treat and exited. Their smiles soon faded as they realized that it was raining.

"Really?" Charles complained. "Our car is all the way down the street."

Bonnie knew what he was thinking so she ran out into the rain getting her dress and hair wet. "Now you can't leave me here to go get the car. I'm coming with you!"

Charles just shook his head at his wife and took off his jacket, put it over their heads and walked to the car. Bonnie burst into a fit of giggles at the whole situation.

"You know what I've wanted to do for a while Charles?"
"What?"
"I want to get kissed in the rain." He started laughing too.
"Charles, I'm serious."

He stopped laughing pulled off the jacket, pulled her to himself and kissed her. They smiled as they separated as if they were teens again. Halfway there, they raced to the car hand in hand.

In the car he promptly turned on the heater and headed for the restaurant she had wanted to try. Pulling up he noticed that no one was there. The place had closed for the night. He just sat there looking. Could nothing go right this evening?

"Honey, not everything goes according to our plans but everything goes according to God's plan." His knowing wife interrupted his negative thoughts.
"You're right. I just had so much planned. I guess that's the problem. I had plans and didn't pray about any of them."

Right there Charles prayed for forgiveness. "Heavenly Father, please forgive me for thinking that my plans were greater than yours and that I don't need to consult you. In your heavenly name I pray. Amen."
"There must be a reason why it's closed. Let's just go home and enjoy the evening together in front of the fireplace." Bonnie suggested.
"Let's do that,” agreed Charles.

While putting on his seat belt Charles noticed a man approaching the car. He watched the man until he approached Charles' window. He cautiously rolled down the window and looked at the man.

"Yes?” Charles inquired.
"What would you like for dinner?" the stranger asked.

Bonnie and Charles just stared at this strange fellow.

The man proceeded to introduce himself, "I'm Eli, the chef and owner here." He pulled out his name-tag to show them. "Our power went out earlier so our food is going to go bad if it's not eaten and I hate to waste the food when my grill still works. Many people saw our light out and thought we weren't open so I sent most of my workers home since we weren't getting any business. If you would like to come in and eat I'll fix you anything on our menu."
"Really?" questioned Charles.
"Sure." Eli said happily.
"Thank you we'll be in shortly."
Bonnie looked at Charles held his hand and prayed, "Thank you God!"

Inside candles were lit on a single table in the center of the restaurant. Eli greeted them and told Charles that he could have as many roses as he wanted from the spare tables. Charles took Bonnie to her seat and went about the room collecting two-dozen roses plus one. When he came back to her he got down on his knee and said, "Twenty-five years ago you made me the happiest man in he world when you accepted my marriage proposal and years later you've continued to make the me the happiest man everyday in your presence. I thank God for you. Everything I tried to do today was in service to make you as happy as you have made me these past twenty-five years. Although most of my plans did not work out you made sure I felt no stress from you. Still on the day I'm trying to make you happy you're doing everything in your power to make me happy as well. You truly are more precious than rubies and I thank God that He allowed me to find you."

By this time Bonnie was in tears. She kissed and hugged her husband whispering "I love you" repeatedly. They had the best meal directly from a five star chef. Their night was a completely unplanned success.

That Monday Jonathan stopped by Charles' office and asked, "So how was your date?" So many amazing things happened but he chose not to brag. “I’m not going to make the same mistake twice”, he thought. Charles smiled and answered. "It was really nice." "Cool" Jonathan replied and he went on his way.

Not five minutes later, did Charles' intercom sounds. He answered, "Hello?"
"Hey Charles, it's Chris. I noticed that you signed for the package at six, an hour after closing time. Thanks for staying late. Expect a bonus in your next check."
That caught Charles off guard but he managed to say, "Wow, thanks Chris!"
"No problem", answered his boss and the call ended.

Charles just sat there thanking God for his many blessings.
I'm tired and I wasn't even the one walking the stage, giving a message of hard work and hope to an audience for an hour, then hugging every person in the attendance. No, that was Lilly Singh's (aka iiSuperWomanii's) job, and she did a BAWSE job too, educating and entertaining the masses with her life, personality and presence. If you can manage to not allow her beauty and awesomeness to distract you and pay attention to the message there is so much you can learn from this tour.

Bawse, as explained by Lilly is a person who exudes confidence, hustles relentlessly, reaches goals, gets hurt efficiently, and smiles genuinely because he or she has fought through it all and made it out the other side.

This tour births hope and teaches you how to bring out your inner BAWSE. Lilly's message format is an overview of the book. She basically goes over the Table of Contents of her book and expounds upon the topics with personal stories, audience interaction and her own comedic tone. This is a book tour though so a great volume of more detailed information can be found in her first voyage as an author in "How To Be A Bawse".

My Experience

We arrived 2 hours early because we were trying to avoid the traffic of the I-85 bridge collapsing incident and were still at least 45 people deep in line. At least the venue was easy to find and we weren't late. You could feel the excitement in the air and hear the cheers as books with golden tickets were being found. Unfortunately, I was not a golden ticket holder but I was a holder of a brand new hand-signed copy of "How To Be A Bawse". I was happy regardless, especially when remembering that I may get to hug her anyways!

One of the more exciting moments, besides seeing Lilly, was seeing Mr. Perfect Smile, Kyle aka Kwalé just nonchalantly walking the hall while I was in line. It took me by such a surprise that I practically screamed his name at him. He jumped a bit in surprise as anyone would after being yelled at but he smiled at me anyway and walked away briskly. I'm sad I didn't get a picture with Mr. Perfect Smile but he smiled at me and my sister took a picture of him later on. He is so beautiful!
As it turned out over 400 people showed up for this <strike>SOLD OUT</strike> ATL book tour stop. We ended up 6 rows in, because a deceiving line formed for pictures in front of the BAWSE letters hindered us from moving forward. When people started jumping chairs I pulled my sister to the nearest middle seat I could find.
We partied hard in anticipation of Lilly's show. I got the vibe that we were trying to romance her with our Southern charm and love of music and a good time. We wanted to show her why Atlanta was the FIRST city on tour to be <strike>SOLD OUT</strike>! Team Super ATL was so diverse, genuine, loving and excited it was wonderful to see. I'm not sure how other shows proceed but we were talking to her from the audience. It was fun to hear the comments like "Preach!" and "Girl you trippin'!" Lilly just rolled with our enthusiasm like a BAWSE.

I cried a couple times that night (I'm sure you can hear me in the video above). First time was after seeing Kwalé. I don't know why I like that boy so much but I do (if only…). The second was when Lilly ran out on to the stage and started pumping up the crowd with Machel Montano's "Like Ah Boss" blasting in the background. WOW I was on cloud nine. To top it off I was able to get a hug and picture from this beautiful being after she kindly asked me my name. I see you implementing your life lessons Lilly!

I watch her almost everyday and I'm even glad when I miss a few vlogs because that means I have a longer time to watch her Bawse through life. She's become one of my chief inspirations for putting my all into the very blog you are currently reading. I didn't want the night to end and was not prepared for her to finish. At the end she had us pinky promise to be a Bawse in life. I hope Lilly comes back to Atlanta. Team Super ATL loves you!! The show was uplifting, motivational and educational.
I read– well I listened to the book ahead of time so I could be aware of everything being talked about because I recalled her saying in an earlier vlog that she hoped her audience had read the book. I wasn't sure what to expect thus I went ahead and got the audiobook, although I knew I would receive the physical book the day of. However having read the book or not (as my sister/guest hadn't) it doesn't hinder you from understanding and enjoying the Bawse Book Tour.

It's only 6 hours long and includes some guest surprises. I've listened to a few audiobooks and have never heard the speaker change to someone else during the reading of the book. It was interesting and fun to hear others whom I recognize read pages of "How To Be A Bawse". Lilly made her reading fun and the extra words here and there did not fall on deaf ears. It felt like I was listening to a friend, a wise friend, who was only looking out for my best. I felt the renewal of my dreams and passions after being given real tools to help make them a reality. Because of the nature of this book being a guide it will require you to reread from time to time (unless you have perfect memory) and implement the tips given. This is the book that keeps on giving, it's worth far more than the asking price.
I hope you all pick up her book, "How To Be A Bawse" online or find a local shop on her website www.lillysinghbook.com. If you buy her book from Target you get an extra chapter and if you buy the audiobook you get to hear extra voices (not in that creepy way though haha).

I loved seeing the BTS process of her creating the audiobook and signing hundreds of books (with the help of Nata and friends!!) in her daily vlog. Check out the vlogs and her main channel, iiSuperWomanii.
The grandees of showbiz might hate you, but an army of rebels, renegades, and deplorables in the public will rally to your side. None of this is news to me, of course...

Chadwick Moore, a gay journalist from New York who recently came out as a conservative, has discovered the same untapped market. Subjected to months of shunning, bullying, and cold-shouldering from his former liberal friends after he profiled me in Out magazine, Moore has now found in conservatism a much bigger, more appreciative and perhaps even larger audience.

Keep in mind Chadwick Moore is a gay man and Joy Villa is a black woman. The man who designed Villa’s dress is a gay Filipino immigrant. All, then, come from constituencies that the left believes it owns, and both work in fields that the left consider their home turf. But if lone rebels like them can make such an impact so quickly, something tells me that dominance is in peril." - Milo Yiannopoulos
Tonight a little known artist made herself very popular by donning a Pro-Trump Make America Great Again dress to the very liberal Grammys.
The attendees were asked to express themselves politically and so she did to the dismay of the Left.

She turned heads as she walked the red carpet in a white gown holding a heart purse, which she pulled off to reveal her very pretty custom made #MAGA dress.
Today has been a pretty awesome day! The electoral college voted and confirmed Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States. And although I'm very sure it's not pleasant news for Jake Gyllenhaal on his 36th birthday being a democrat but since I like him regardless it's a good day for me!! Happy Birthday Jake!! Maybe we'll meet one day. :)
I have no idea who any of you are. I see that I get hits but I barely get any comments and some of the few that I get are spams. :(

I've been using another popular social media outlet because I get a little more interaction. However I miss this platform but it needs an upgrade badly and I would like a more vocal audience.

Anyways I'm brainstorming on how to get more interaction and feedback on this blog. What should I do to make it more interesting? I'm thinking a makeover. However I don't want to lose myself trying to please others. Hmmm *taps fingers in thought*
Any suggestions???

Here's lookin at you guys and gals??Tempresshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14038517471034475791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305033878583845947.post-42408046548377049992016-12-10T20:30:00.002-08:002016-12-10T20:30:58.129-08:00Why I Can't Live In South Korea
I still desire to go to Korea but not to live there. I can't recall if I wanted to live there or not but I know for a fact that I love America and don't want to permanently leave. I am very comfortable here and I don't know I think my personality will mesh too well with the society there.

Listen to the advice Megan gives in the video below:

I'm a huggy, talk to strangers, kind of flirty type of girl. That's who I am. I could stop doing that but I think it would smother my true personality. I'm just starting to understand the mind that was given to me. I don't want to change it up yet. lol

South Korea is a beautiful place that I'd love to visit but I just don't think I'd be able to live there like Megan was able to do. I applaud her for not only learning the language but also learning the culture and living her life to the fullest in a nation she wasn't raised in. I totally, %100, agree with her that if you move to another country you need to assimilate (#AmericanImmigration) and I <strike>like</strike> –no, I LOVE my American lifestyle and I have no desire to part with it.

This being said I'm trying to get back into my k-dramas, and language study which I have neglected this year. It brought me anxiety and happiness. I love Korea and America.
We say the media is biased because if these people in power had been
Republicans or Conservatives you wouldn't have to go searching for their
political affiliations or their names. In the headlines and on repeat
would these stories be circulated but because every last one of these
people are Democrats the media protects them and even when they are
reporting their bad press it's still spun in way to show the good work
these people have done. Let it be a Republican. You would hear
"Republican politician Such and such has been accused of…!" Seriously!!
They wouldn't call Kent Ingleheart by his name in the radio broadcast!!
They kept saying Councilman and would not say which party he belonged
to. These people would be buried in negative press and run out of town
with very hard sentences pending but because they're Democrats they're
protected by our bias media.

None of it worked out. I didn't even make it out with a friend. I just have strangers in my memory now. A lot of my problems came from the fact that they weren't real Christians and the fact that I am in love/lust/longing [for] with someone else. A tangible fellow who I've been invited out to meet with a few times but it alas hasn't come to fruition as well. While I want to believe he's a Christian there are a several aspects of his life that need to be worked on by God. As much as I want to be with him I know these things won't change because I want them to and I'll only end up compromising what I believe like I almost did with the others from the dating apps. I thanks God for hindering those relationships and opening my eyes to the warning signs that these guys were not the one for me. However I'm still very much lonely and trying to find a way to be happy with Christ while single. Pray for me please and if you think it wise, please pray for the one my heart longs for also.Tempresshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14038517471034475791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305033878583845947.post-70587482789655338622016-08-20T05:17:00.002-07:002016-08-20T05:17:57.333-07:00Moving ForwardI want to see changes in my life so I'm going to start with the way I do things. Instead of lazying about on my free weekends I'll push forward with my dreams of becoming a profitable author. I love books and making up stories however my life has derailed so far from my desire that I feel that a change must happen in order to get where I want to be in life.

Short and sweet.

I'm debating on whether to publish them here first or not. I'll talk to you later. :)Tempresshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14038517471034475791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305033878583845947.post-59274903370297550582016-08-06T21:03:00.001-07:002016-08-06T21:03:44.106-07:00Another One... Anton YelchinI'll miss you Anton Yelchin. No, I didn't know him in person but from what I could see he was awesome at his job. I really wanted to see where his career was going to go. He was so young (only a year older than myself) and so very good at acting. His career was blossoming when he left us abruptly.

I fell for his acting chops in the movie Odd Thomas. It was a strange and very cool film about a boy who could see the dead. I recommend it for those who love a good mystery movie.

My father is a Star Trek fan and thought Anton did a great job as the reboot Chekov however I didn't really pay attention as a kid to the original Chekov I was too busy being mesmerized by the OG Spock. However as an adult I can't disassociate Yelchin from his role as Chekov and is forever in my mind as Pavel Andreievich Chekov navigator of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The first movie I saw him in was Fright Night the 2011 remake while it was not as good as the first one I still enjoyed it and was thoroughly entertained with his version of Charley Brewster.

I really liked his films and I hope we never forget the talent he brought to the screen. I think he would've done an awesome job as Ray Peterson in 'The Burbs'. How about you?

From the few movies I've seen him in (which includes all the Star Treks) he constantly plays the guy who will do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves and the boy who can never die. It comes as a shock to realize that it doesn't ring true in real life. Oh how I wish he were still with us. It's a completely selfish reason but I don't think he'd mind it too much.

I don't know where he went. I don't know what he believed that's why I don't say rest in peace because I'm not sure if that's true for that person. I believe the Bible when it says your soul lives on even if your physical body dies. I hope he went to Heaven but there are plenty of "good" people who go to Hell because they refuse to trust Christ Jesus with their life. Let his life be a wake up call for those who are waiting till they get old to "get right with the Lord". Don't wait. You never know when your last day will be either.Tempresshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14038517471034475791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305033878583845947.post-51577813888666443502016-08-06T19:57:00.000-07:002016-08-06T19:57:52.247-07:00I Think I'm BackOnly one post in 2015 and now my first 2016 post is near the end of the year.
I learned about this couple when I was around 17 years old.
In the 1950's an interracial couple by the name of Richard and Mildred Loving got married unbeknownst to the government of Virginia where they resided. At that time however it was illegal in Virginia for an interracial couple to marry and so started years of turmoil for the Loving who tried to get their marriage legalized.

There is a HBO documentary on the Loving Story.

Homosexuality
One thing I don't agree with that's pressing on my heart to mention is homosexual marriage. So that know one will misunderstand my promotion of this day as as gay/lesbian support I write this.

Mildred Loving has said she supports homosexuality and that's where her and I depart ways. Comparing her situation to gays and lesbians is completely wrong in my opinion. I see where she sees the similarity in the fact that she and her husband weren't allowed to marry by law like homosexuals aren't but the difference goes deeper though. I've found that not only do gays & lesbians want their version of marriage legalized they want everyone to accept it and not tolerate others who may have an opposing views on the subject. They don't want people like me to express that God says they're sexual lifestyle is an abomination in His sight. They say they want to be tolerated but they want more than tolerance and in hypocrisy they don't show the same toleration they want to Christians who speak against their lifestyle.

Christians Marrying & Friendship
At the beginning of the video posted above you heard a man say that God separated the races showing that God did not intend for the races to mix. Obviously that man did no research on one of the most influential leaders of Israel, Moses. Moses was in an interracial marriage. His wife Zipporah was Kushite who's people were from northeast Africa. Multiple times in the bible (particularly the Old Testament) God told Israel not to intermarry with their neighboring countries because the women from the other countries would lead His people away from worshipping God to worshipping idols. In the New Testament we find God's requirements for marriage had nothing to do with race but faith.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: 'I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.'
'Therefore come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.' 'I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,

It's another thing to become a Christian after marriage to an unbeliever while you were an unbeliever also. But you're totally going against God's commands if you are a Christian and know your love interest or even good friend is an unbeliever and you're still pursuing a deep relationship. That's why I don't advise my own friends who are believers to date unbelievers because God didn't even come close to marriage in saying not to be yoked with them. He took on the topic of friendship, dating and marriage in His standard of Christian living.

They will change you before you change them. I'm not saying there is no chance for them to change but your intimate relationship puts you in danger before it'll help them. Think about it you're already disobeying God to begin with by being in a relationship with an unbeliever, tampering with your personal relationship with God. You're already compromised. God will never tell you to disobey His commands in order to save someone. God doesn't need us but He gives us the opportunity to be apart of His grandiose plan. If He wants to save someone can do it without you.
Anyways I think this day should be celebrated especially by the tons of people who are in such a relationship, those who want to be, those who support it and those who love history.
This is as much a reminder to me as it is a message to you, the reader.

I haven't been here in a while. I just wanted to let you all know of my struggles and if it can enlighten anyone else that's even better. I know the Bible says drinking wine and even beer isn't wrong it's just the getting drunk part that can lead you to sin and un-Christ-like behavior is what he's trying to protect us from. I understand the rule, principle, and consequences of the rule. Since I have a self-realized consumption problem I want to stay away from alcoholic beverages altogether so I won't accidently get drunk.

Taking this all into account, I've sort of developed a disdain for people who drink even though there is no biblical law against drinking and I'm trying to get over that. I know there are many people who drink to get drunk but my perspective of a person who drinks is what bothers me. I think it's wrong to add to the bible or make other feel bad for something there is no biblical law against. As the Word itself say judge not others on the keeping of days or lack of day keeping. Principally this means not to judge anyone based on frivolity. God never specified that we should honor a pagan holiday like Christmas but there s nothing wrong with celebrating the birth of Christ either. In the same manner, God never commanded us to drink nor did he tell us not to but the only specified rule is to not get drunk.

So I feel bad because I was thinking that I wouldn't want a husband who drinks and while that is my prerogative, as long is he is a man who believes in Christ, what if I disregard the man Christ has for me because he drinks?

Yahh... I'm just thinking on these things and trying to fix my perceptions. I've been wanting to talk on this topic a while anyways because a lot of people think drinking is bad when it's not . It's getting drunk that's bad.
I hope our government doesn't turn out like Germany but with the way the Obama Administration is handling this case I have a hard time believing we, the Homeschooling community, won't be persecuted soon as well.

It is a fact that with America's poor education system homeschoolers bring more to the table in comparison so why kick out a family who means no harm to America, who could in fact be an asset to our nation? Why are they being treated like criminals here in America? Why deport them and not the millions of illegal immigrants who come to America, some with the intent to join a gang and cause trouble? This is backwards thinking and America is smarter than this. I know it.

After reading the article below from MailOnline please sign the petition they need 100,000 by April 18th, 2013. Help save the future free thinking community. Our country is getting too invasive on our freedoms taking this free society to one that is dependent and dictated by the government. With every right and issue that we allow to pass us by thinking it has no affect on us stifles our freedoms as a people even more. Don't give up on our rights! Don't give up on America!

"The Obama administration is arguing in federal court that a homeschooling family from Germany should be deported back to their homeland, despite what they say is religious persecution. The German government prevented Uwe and Hannelore Romeike from teaching their five children at home instead of sending them to government-run schools, fining them and threatening to prosecute them if they don't obey.
When they took their three oldest children out of school in 2006, police showed up at their house within 24 hours, only leaving after a group of supporters showed up and organized a quick protest.
But their legal troubles were just beginning. Germany began fining the family, ultimately racking up a bill of more than 7,000 Euros ($9,000).
After they fled to the United States in 2010, the Romeike family initially were granted political asylum and found a home in Tennessee. They had a sixth child. But then U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) appealed the asylum decision in 2012.

The federal Board of Immigration Appeals sided with the government despite a 2011 policy that gives the government broad discretion to pursue only high-priority cases.
ICE would not provide details about the case, or its reasons for pursuing the Romeikes.
Regrettably, this family faces deportation in spite of the persecution they will suffer in Germany.'
An estimated 2 million children in the US are home schooled.
But the practice is illegal in Germany. An estimated 200 families teach their own children there anyway, even at the risk of fines, criminal prosecution and, in some cases, the loss of custody of their children.
That court ruled in 2007 that parents who home school their children can have their custody rights limited or eliminated entirely.
German families have sought refuge in both Canada and New Zealand in recent years, citing the same reasons as the Romeikes. Both cases were denied.
The Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment. Attorney General Eric Holder could intervene and allow the Romeikes to remain in the country on humanitarian grounds, even if the Obama administration doesn't believe home schooling parents should qualify for asylum as a matter of principle.
Be careful of what you're giving up to be obtain immediate pleasure.

Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. He said to Jacob, "Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I'm famished!" (That is why he was also called Edom.) Jacob replied, "First sell me your birthright." "Look, I am about to die," Esau said. "What good is the birthright to me?" But Jacob said, "Swear to me first." So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright. -Genesis 25:29-34 (NIV)
value and somethings increase in value over time. Have you given up
something for immediate pleasure and come to regret it? If so, think on
how much you value now what you traded then and consider what you have
now that you're thinking of trading later for satisfaction. I'm posting
this to remind you all of this lesson I'm pretty sure we've all learned
before but we need to refresh our mind and think on these things from
time to time.
What's your bowl of soup and birth right?

This lesson is something I have to always keep at the fore front of my
mind and it wasn't until I reread the story of Jacob and Esau that I

The Birth of Jesus (Luke 2:1-20 - NIV)

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be
taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took
place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to
their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to
Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line
of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be
married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the
time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a
son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because
there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch
over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and
the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But
the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that
will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a
Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a
sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a
manger.”

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said
to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has
happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was
lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word
concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard
it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up
all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds
returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard
and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Lest we not forget, He is still the reason for the season. Always will be.

Singing about a man who was a baby, who became a boy, who became a man.

Born in an obscure village. A Child of a peasant woman, He
actually grew up in another village where He worked in a carpenter shop
until He was thirty. And for three years He was an itinerant preacher.

He never owned a home,

never wrote a book.

He never held an office.

He never really had a family of his own.

Never went to college,

Never set foot in a big city.

He never traveled 200 miles from the place He was born.

He never did one of the things that usually accompanies greatness.

He had no credentials but Himself.

While still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against
Him. His friends ran away. Even one of His best friends denied him.

He was turned over to His enemies.

He went through the mockery of a trial.

He was nailed upon a cross between two thieves.

While He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only piece of
property He had on this earth and that was His coat. And when He was
dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend.

Nineteen long centuries have come and gone.

Today, He is still the centerpiece of the human race, and leader of
the column of progress. I’m far within the mark when I say that:

all of the armies that were ever marched,

all of the navies that were ever built,

all of the parliaments that ever sat, and

all of the kings that ever reigned,

all put together, have not affected the lives on this earth as powerfully as has that ONE SOLITARY LIFE.

Good news is, He’s alive and all is well.

Happy Thanksgiving All!!! I'm sad. I'm sadden by the state of affairs the world is in that a day like Thanksgiving can be passed over for shopping and work. I think Thanksgiving Day is as about as patriotic as Independence Day and when I see folks (especially immigrants) forgo the celebration and disregard the history of this day for trivial things I get sad about the downward spiral of this country. Manipulated textbooks have taught lies and misconstrued truth surround the founding of the United States. I implore you to research the reason this day even exist and recall why we even celebrate Thanksgiving. Let's pray for America and the education system. Thank God for the blessing of life, freedom, and salvation.
I've noticed for years how Black democrats turn on any one who doesn't believe the way they do and then they claim they accept everyone.

Beyonce, who embodies that embrace and love everyone persona, showed her true colors when Obama, whom she donated hundreds of thousands to his 2012 campaign, was re-elected. She celebrated by posting a hand written letter that statement that said, "take that mitches" hinting at the "b" swear word. In posting that little message she demonstrated for the world to see how she doesn't respect people with different views from hers.

Tamera Mowry-Housley got blasted on twitter when she retweeted a comment by Fox News Channel anchor Greta Van Susteren. The original tweet said "I think I might turn this off if it were not my job to watch it...the interruptions make it impossible to learn anything." Tamera added, "That's all I'ma say about the debate. ;) God bless us, everyone." After that she got racist remarks thrown her way and for what?! She didn't even say who she was for or against but just associating herself with someone from the right was enough.
Ever since Stacey Dash came out in support of the Romney/Ryan ticket she's known in the media as "'Clueless' actress Stacey Dash". They are not being secretive about how they feel about her. These same people are supporting other liberal artist in the "Stop Bullying" and "NoH8" campaigns yet they bully others like Stacey Dash who don't agree with them. Hypocrites!!

After Beyonce sang Etta James' song "At Last" at Obama's 2008 inauguration Ms. James commented "He ain't my president. He might be yours..." and soon folks started calling her crazy and her son wrote it off as "drug induced dementia" and Alzheimer's.

Bill Cosby was labeled crazy when he told African Americans the truth about what's causing our degradation as a people. They didn't like his words and have labeled him a crazy old man yet they still listen to that foul-mouthed Samuel L. Jackson and racist Spike Lee.

We get called "the white man's wh*re", "Uncle/Aunty Tom", "sellout" and all kind of racist names from black democrats. As if we're the ones without a thinking mind of our own when they're the ones who follow mob rule. My point is that if you're a black democrat or liberal you won't get the same kind of heat from the opposing side. That's got to stop. I'm not saying we should be racist but we shouldn't just take this crap anymore.

In a media saturated America more Conservative and Republican celebrities need to speak up for their beliefs and their fellow right leaning stars allowing fans to see that there is another side. The only reason why Dems have so much influence is because they talk so much. I'm sure if we, Conservatives and Repubs started talking more we'd have a bolder party.

I used to be a little shy about telling folks of my political beliefs because that was suppose to be a controversial topic people didn't talk about but as a more democrats and liberals started spreading lies about Republican and Conservative beliefs I decided it was time to stop being quiet. They say whatever they want about us and we're suppose to be quiet as to not bring up any quarrels but that's not "fair" so I'm going to be "fair" from now own. I ask others who believe the way that I do to speak up also. Tempresshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14038517471034475791noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305033878583845947.post-43753448052013263512012-11-06T11:20:00.002-08:002012-11-06T11:20:17.001-08:00The Fountainhead 2012 Presidential Election

The Fountainhead is a film very appropriate for today. As Obama said we are choosing between two fundamentally different ideas for this country. Obama's ideas would have us become a more collective people dependent upon the government and subordinate to other countries. Romney's ideas are to restore the economy of our country and bring us back as the great youth of the world, believing in individuality and personal responsibility.

I correlate this film to the 2012 Presidential Election because I believe our Nation especially the youth have forgotten how we became such a strong and independent country in the first place. As my father says, "we can not look just to our own time but to the history before us." We should learn from the past mistakes and victories with the concept of time results. The Fountainhead is an older film recorded in the year 1949 based upon a novel by Ayn Rand by the same name. The film focuses on an Howard Roark, an architect with courage and conviction and because of that he's hated by the liberal elite. The liberal elite then turn the public (poor, rich and middle class) against him saying that he's selfish. The liberal elite is portrayed by Ellsworth Toohey preaching that self-sacrifice is necessary for the survival of all and any man who doesn't serve his fellow man needs to be destroyed. This film correctly depicts what type of convictions caused us to become such a strong nation and the "forward" thinking could just be a guise for collective thinking of a majority. The apex of the film is when the "world" has turned against Howard Roark and he defends himself in court. His defense goes as follows:

Howard Roark: [delivering the closing statements of his own defense] Thousands of years ago the first man discovered how to make fire. He was probably burned at the stake he had taught his brothers to light, but he left them a gift they had not conceived of, and he lifted darkness off the earth. Through out the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision. The great creators, the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors, stood alone against the men of their time. Every new thought was opposed. Every new invention was denounced. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered, and they paid - but they won.

No creator was prompted by a desire to please his brothers. His brothers hated the gift he offered. His truth was his only motive. His work was his only goal. His work, not those who used it, his creation, not the benefits others derived from it. The creation which gave form to his truth. He held his truth above all things, and against all men. He went ahead whether others agreed with him or not. With his integrity as his only banner. He served nothing, and no one. He lived for himself. And only by living for himself was he able to achieve the things which are the glory of mankind. Such is the nature of achievement.
Howard Roark: Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. But the mind is an attribute of the individual, there is no such thing as a collective brain. The man who thinks must think and act on his own. The reasoning mind cannot work under any form of compulsion. It cannot not be subordinated to the needs, opinions, or wishes of others. It is not an object of sacrifice.

The creator stands on his own judgment. The parasite follows the opinions of others. The creator thinks, the parasite copies. The creator produces, the parasite loots. The creator's concern is the conquest of nature - the parasite's concern is the conquest of men. The creator requires independence, he neither serves nor rules. He deals with men by free exchange and voluntary choice. The parasite seeks power, he wants to bind all men together in common action and common slavery. He claims that man is only a tool for the use of others. That he must think as they think, act as they act, and live is selfless, joyless servitude to any need but his own. Look at history. Everything thing we have, every great achievement has come from the independent work of some independent mind. Every horror and destruction came from attempts to force men into a herd of brainless, soulless robots. Without personal rights, without personal ambition, without will, hope, or dignity. It is an ancient conflict. It has another name: the individual against the collective.

Our country, the noblest country in the history of men, was based on the principle of individualism. The principle of man's inalienable rights. It was a country where a man was free to seek his own happiness, to gain and produce, not to give up and renounce. To prosper, not to starve. To achieve, not to plunder. To hold as his highest possession a sense of his personal value. And as his highest virtue, his self respect. Look at the results. That is what the collectivists are now asking you to destroy, as much of the earth has been destroyed.

I am an architect. I know what is to come by the principle on which it is built. We are approaching a world in which I cannot permit myself to live. My ideas are my property. They were taken from me by force, by breach of contract. No appeal was left to me. It was believed that my work belonged to others, to do with as they pleased. They had a claim upon me without my consent. That is was my duty to serve them without choice or reward. Now you know why I dynamited Cortlandt. I designed Cortlandt, I made it possible, I destroyed it. I agreed to design it for the purpose of seeing it built as I wished. That was the price I set for my work. I was not paid. My building was disfigured at the whim of others who took all the benefits of my work and gave me nothing in return. I came here to say that I do not recognize anyone's right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy, nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim. It had to be said. The world is perishing from an orgy of self-sacrificing. I came here to be heard. In the name of every man of independence still left in the world. I wanted to state my terms. I do not care to work or live on any others. My terms are a man's right to exist for his own sake.

So I say we vote for the return of our country to prosperity, individuality and morality by casting your vote to Romney.
