Media Malpractice: Yiayia on Relationships
Athenos Greek commercial
A Greek Grandma tells kids who are shacking up that they're going to Hell.
Will just living with the opposite sex cause you to go to Hell? No
Will sleeping with your significant other whether you're living together or not cause you to go to Hell? No
Now I'm not condoning people who sleep together and are not married. I'm just saying you're not going to Hell just because of that. Sleeping with someone outside of marriage is a sin which will send you to Hell for being a sin that hasn't been atoned for. You can go to Hell just because you disobeyed your parents or something little you did a long time ago. A small lie you told when were little like "Yea I washed my hands" when you didn't is enough to bar you from Heaven.
You have to be absolutely perfect to get to heaven or accept Christ as your Saviour, acknowledge Him as God and repent of your sins. God saw that we were all going to Hell because none of us are perfect and decided to be merciful to us by giving up His only Son to die for people who hated Him.
I'm not sure why they included this in the commercial but for the highly likely chance that someone will believe what was said as truth I had to say something.
And once you're a Christian, apart of the body of Christ, nothing can separate us from Christ. No sin in the world can send you to Hell after you become a Christ follower. I'm not saying that because of Christ's salvation that you can do whatever you want and not get in trouble with God because of it.
LOL!! If you believe God won't punish Christians who disobey Him you haven't read what happened to Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11.
Acts 5
Ananias and Sapphira
1 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.”
5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. 6 Then the young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.
7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”
“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”
9 Peter said to her, “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.

The determing factor of where you'll go after death is your choice whether you'll accept Christ atonement for your sins or your own atonement (which is you going to Hell in order to pay for your sins), nothing else.
