Media Malpractice: The Trayvon Martin Case

This is my first Media Malpractice entry this year. For links to my other entries check the end of this entry.

I tried my best to stay out of this Trayvon Martin mess but but it seems as though a lot of my fellow African Americans are not looking at facts and just working on emotion. So I can't stay quiet any longer lest the people especially African Americans who want truth and justice in this country think they're alone.

It sickens me to see all this hate going on but what's worse is the Media getting in on this. They don't care about the citizens of America, if they did they'd leave this case up to the justice system and they wouldn't doctor tapes to push an agenda. Their agenda: to stir up racial tension which would get the people's focus off a declining economy and keeping a black president who's spending us into oblivion. I have nothing against us having a president with an African American heritage in him/her or any other heritage for that matter. I base my choice of presidency on whether their beliefs are similar to mine and what their track record shows of how they truly act. As a Conservative, Barack Obama in 2008 through 2012, has done nothing to show himself as someone who has this country's needs at heart. As a Christian, Barack Obama in 2008 through 2012, does not even come close to having similar beliefs. In fact Barack Obama's action actively going against Christianity and Conservatism.

NBC, the National Broadcasting Company, who is owned by General Electric (aka GE) who are basically owned by Barack Obama after he granted them a 16 BILLION dollar bailout (plus they pay no taxes) spread a false report in the Trayvon Martin case. They spun the news to make it seemed like George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin, was racially profiling Mr. Martin by doctoring the police tape.
Here's what NBC put out: ZIMMERMAN:  This guy looks like he's up to no good.  He looks black.

and here is what was actually said:
"ZIMMERMAN:  This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something.  It's raining, and he's just walking around looking about.

DISPATCHER:  Okay.  This guy, is he white, black, or Hispanic?

ZIMMERMAN:  He looks black."

It was actually the Dispatcher who asked what race was Martin. Zimmerman didn't volunteer that information. Now why would they cut up and paste Zimmerman's sentences like that? NBC was race baiting. They were trying to make it look like Martin's death was racially driven. They are suppose to report the facts not distort them.

ABC News also "all of a sudden" discovered, after enhancing their video of Zimmerman entering the police station, that he had a gash on his head. Earlier ABC News reported that that Zimmerman was without injury even though paramedics said that they treated Zimmerman at the scene.

And CNN was put to shame when they had to tell the people that the supposed racial slur that Zimmerman used to describe Martin in their audio enhanced 911 call was nothing more than Zimmerman saying that it was cold.

Spike Lee even got in on it vigilante style by re-tweeting an address, to his 200,000 followers on twitter, that he thought belonged to George Zimmerman. The address however belonged to an elderly couple who were in turn harassed by another "vigilante". Just like you could be wrong about something as simple as an address you can be completely wrong about this case. That's why I don't bother with these race baiting Spike Lees, Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons, Henry Louis Gates and Jeremiah Wrights of the world. They're always looking for a fight and a way to victimize African Americans.

The New York Times and other media outlets are now calling Zimmerman a "white-hispanic" after they found out that he's not completely white even though Zimmerman identifies himself as a hispanic. They have to keep throwing in race it seems. I wonder when they'll start calling Barack Obama a white-African American? They've taken this man and painted him as a racist without proof and false accusations and made him the poster boy for hate from around this country. Now the damage is done. Thousands of ill-informed people believe Zimmerman targeted Martin because he was black but you don't here the media repeating the news that they were in the wrong like they repeated this story 24/7.

You want truth? You want justice? Then be quiet and be patient. America's justice system is slow for a reason. The gears of our justice system turns slowly so that all possibilities can be looked at thoroughly and retribution can be administered fairly. This rash, mob like thinking and actions we have surging through our community needs to stop. America is a Constitutional Republic and as much as "they" like tell you we live in a democratic (not the political party although it seems like it) society it's not true. We don't run on Mob Rule. If we did we'd scream for a lot of heinous things and just because a majority says it's ok we'd do it. That's called Anarchy. You have to wait. Pushing the system to go faster is only going to corrupt it even more.

Trayvon Martin's case should go through like any other case with no bias.

This is not the first time and it is surely not last time that NBC will actively distort a story to spin it in such a way to fit their agenda. NBC is not the only corrupt and bias media outlet. I'm really tired of people saying they're not going to call out the Libs but I am. How are others suppose to know what to look out for if they don't know where to look? ABC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, NPR, The New York Times, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Washington Post and a host of other "news" stations and papers are liberal and work to promote their agenda. The least liberal of the major news networks is Fox News because they try to put both the conservative and the liberal view up for people to make their own decision and they are the only ones who talked about NBC's tape doctoring. The liberal media doesn't care about truth they only care about getting what they want. By all means DO NOT merely read my words but LOOK into these claims yourself.
