I wonder if BAP knows that their name stands for Black American Princess? lol
They say it stands for Best Absolute Perfect but that really doesn't make any sentence sense. I'd go with Best Asian Princes or Best Asian Popstars! idk
January last year I told the good news from Rebecca St. James, Tia and Tamera Mowry. Now I have more good news to share!! I choose to share good news from the men and women in popularity who have chosen to attempt to live a godly life. lol I try to find people who will encourage believers in their pursuit of purity. Christian rap artist, Trip Lee of Reach Records with his wife, Jessica are having a baby!! YAY!! Trip Lee revealed in his song "Good Thing" that he and his wife is expecting a little one after much prayer. Trip Lee and his wife married at age 21 and 22. After being asked so many times why they married so young they wrote their answers out for everyone to see. Trip's Perspective Yesterday I made a late night stop at the store to grab a few things and I had a very interesting conversation with the cashier. We made small talk as she scanned my items, and then she offered me a discount card but I told her my wife already had one. That’s when th...
The A List (in my mind) inspired by Jin's song A-List I decided to make my own A-List focusing on Christian rappers. Jin Angels Asian connection: Jin is Chinese, born in Miami and based out of New York. Of all the MC’s on this list, Jin’s Asian connection is the strongest. He’s made numerous tracks that are Asian and Chinese-related as well as recorded several albums in Cantonese. He is currently based out of Hong Kong. Jin is the single most well-known, written-about, revered, disrespected, loved and hated Asian American rapper ever. It’s hard to believe he’s been out in the scene since 2001 – it only seems like yesterday you could catch him Freestyle Friday Battle. Before Jin, most people had never seen an Asian rap before (myself included). Jin changed the game as the first and only Asian American rapper to break into the mainstream. For better or worse, he’s still the only Asian the average rap fan can name. I think it’...
There are a few Asian Artist that are trying to make it and there seems to be potential. Crown J was recently interviewed by Atlanta's Blackvibe online magazine. Who bought the crappy mic? lol Crown pointed out something that's frustrated me about the Korean pop culture for a while now. To become famous you have to go through corporate business crap. I'm not trying to offend anyone who loves K-pop but I don't agree with the whole corporate way. To me that's like being a sellout. They use your music to make money which is ok but they do it through making the artist "idols". :banghead: 2PM fans know that Jay Park has left the band and has come to the states. So what's he up to now? A few weeks back he made a Youtube page and posted his rendition of "Nothing On You" by B.O.B . <--click there. I'm going to keep my opinion of how he did to myself and let you judge. lol He says he has plans to continue in the music business I be...
