Good People Don't Go to Heaven

   I know it's hard for some to accept this fact but it's true. No matter how "good" you are you're still not good enough to get into heaven. Your goodness has no bearing on your determination of where you will spend eternity.

   Many people have ben fed this lie by Hollywood to make others feel better about themselves and those they love. We would all like to know that we along with the ones we care for will end up in heaven but it's not possible for a nonbeliever to enter the Kingdom of God.

    Many people assume that they're Christians because of someone told them that they were, they go to church or that they believe in "God". I put quotation marks around the name God because some people believe in a god they've made up in their minds. How can you truly know God when you don't spend real time in His Word learning about Him and His ways? How can you truly know God when you don't obey Him and accept His Son as God in human form sent to Earth to die on the cross for your sins (past present and future)? How can you truly know God when you act opposition to Him. Do you truly know God, the creator of this universe and of each temporary snowflake?

It's like you're a stranger trying to get into His home. You can't come in if "I never knew you."

Matthew 7:21-23
    “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

   He's telling you plainly now don't wait until judgement day to make a case. You're not going to win He's God and he's given everyone the opportunity to receive Him and the ability to enter into heaven.

Romans 3:10 - 20
10 As it is written:
   “There is no one righteous, not even one;

11 there is no one who understands;
   there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
   they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
   not even one.
13 “Their throats are open graves;
   their tongues practice deceit.”
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”

14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” 15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;

16 ruin and misery mark their ways, 17 and the way of peace they do not know.”

18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

    So don't get angry when someone tells you to repent of your sins and accept Christ as Lord and Savior. No matter their motives behind telling you, the truth is the truth. Christ came to Earth to free us from our sin nature, forgive us and give us a way to reach him personally. Remember there is no acceptance without genuine repentance.

    I would like to add though that babies and young children automatically are able to enter heaven if they pass away early. Why? Because they aren't able to understand the concepts of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and salvation. God knows that they can't comprehend it all.

    Good people don't go to Heaven. People who have choose to follow Christ by accepting Him, His Father and Spirit into their lives as Savior, Maker and Leader, repenting of sins are the ones who go to Heaven. If you want to go to heaven that is what you have to do genuinely/sincerely. Earth has nothing for us. This is a place of test and trials in which we fail every time without Christ. Hell is a real place and I'm pretty sure some of the people I love dearly are there and headed in that direction because they refuse to surrender their lives to Christ. Sad but true.

For people who claim to be apart of Christ' family remember to make sure you are a Christian.

2 Peter 1:3-11
 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
 10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Make your decision soon you never know how long you have on Earth,
Tempress
